November program announced
GEDA announces that Commissioner Ron Jackson of the Technical College System of Georgia will address the GEDA membership at our November meeting. We all know that the Technical College System has undergone recent changes, however that should in no way decrease the high level of service we have come to expect from our Technical Colleges. It is no secret that a quality, trained & skilled workforce is vital to the success of any economic development efforts and success. Come here Commissioner Jackson speak of the Technical Colleges – where they have been, where they are and where they are going.
November’s luncheon will be held at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Downtown Atlanta. You may recall that our March program was slated to be in that same location until a tornado decided to waltz down International Boulevard. So, everyone cross your fingers and hope for good weather – we look forward to seeing you on November 17, 2008 for our FINAL EVENT OF 2008!!!
