GDEcD at Auto Trade Show in China


GEDA members are invited to join the Georgia Department of Economic Development at Automechanika Shanghai at the Shanghai International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts, Equipment and Service Suppliers at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, Pudong Shanghai, December 10-12, 2008.

A limited amount of space is available on a first come first served basis to chambers, economic development and/or regional authorities to join us in the US Pavilion. Georgia Community Exhibitor Participation is $1500 which will include co-branded Georgia exhibitor space. (Support for arranging transportation, hotel and translation services is not included in the exhibitor’s fee.)

Automechanika Shanghai is sponsored by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) and China National Automotive Industry International Corporation. Focused primarily on parts & components, repair & automotive services, accessories, tuning equipment, re-fuelling & care products, Automechanika is competitive as an international, high quality trading platform for the automotive aftermarket trade in China.

Automechanika Shanghai will house thousands of quality Chinese manufacturers and suppliers from all over the country, including regional group pavilions from Taizhou, Ningbo, Yuhuan, Ruian, Wuhu and Quanzhou. Key auto production provinces such as Guangdong, Hubei, Shichuan, Shandong and Jilin will be represented as well. Participants represent industry groups that include motor and diesel engines, electrical appliances and parts and accessories. The show acts as an important gateway for buyers to reach these important exhibitors who are offering high quality and competitive value products. Exhibitors will realize an opportunity not only to boost sales and gain exposure but meeting potential Chinese partners.

Approximately 1,800 exhibitors are expected to attend, and will be spread over eight halls. More than 30,000 visitors are expected for this year’s show.
