GEDA has gone HI-TECH!
Would something known as “Adding RSS Feeds to your inbox” sound too daunting to you? If you’re like me, it is difficult to keep up with all of the new technologies that seem to come up every single day. Sometimes, I feel like the technology is making life more DIFFICULT, rather than easier, as it is supposed to be. I promise – this new feature WILL make getting information from GEDA so much easier for you.
RSS stands for REALLY SIMPLE SYNDICATION. See? It has the words “Really Simple” in the title. It HAS to be easy. Enough with convincing you how easy it is, now I’ll tell you WHAT it is. RSS puts news articles, blogs, etc from a growing number of websites into a standardized format and then delivers them directly to your email inbox. You, the user, must subscribe to receive these updates. For example, when a new News Article is posted to your favorite website, you now have to log on, go to the website and read the article. Now, however, once you have subscribed to RSS, this new GEDA article will have already been sent into your email inbox!
Go ahead and sign on today! Please contact me if there are any problems or questions about subscribing.
