Melinda Lemmon update

Thank you to all of you for your thoughts, prayers, cards and gifts for Melinda and her family during her current hospital stay. Here is where we stand as of now:

Melinda is home MUCH sooner than expected. She’ll still need to go back in for some more treatments. So – for all of the cards, prayers, surrport received so far – Melinda and family would like to thank all of you. (She especially liked the card we signed for her at Spring Workshop.) Great news!! So – for the 2100+ of you who have visited her www.caringbridge.org site and the 137 of us who have signed her guestbook, keep it up! I know she loves reading all of your encouraging words.

For those interested in finding ways to help, the Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce is collecting funds to help the family with gas money for the commute and gift cards for the hospital restaurants. Also – for those interesting in donating to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society (fighting for a cure!), please email me (mpennington@georgia.org) and I can get you information on that.
