Anna Chafin
Anna Chafin is the Director of Marketing & Research for the Liberty County Development Authority. She is responsible for planning and implementing the Authority’s comprehensive industrial marketing and research efforts. Her primary duties include: developing collateral materials; coordinating special events; disseminating information to the media; maintaining the Authority’s website; and conducting research to continuously update demographic, contact, land, and building data.
Anna holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication with minors in both Business Administration and English from Mercer University. She has over seven years experience working in both the public and private sectors.
Anna is a graduate of the Georgia Academy for Economic Development, and she is currently participating in Leadership Southeast Georgia. In addition, she is involved in the Middle Coastal Unified Development Authority. She is an active member of the Georgia Economic Developers Association currently serving as a member of both the Board of Directors and the Mentorship Task Force and previously served as the Special Service Awards Committee Chair.
