Emotional Intelligence, also referred to as EQ, can be summarized as how well you understand your emotions and how well you manage them. During this workshop, you will learn the theories supporting emotional intelligence and how they can improve your exercise of leadership.

Course Outline

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify and explain the five composites of emotional intelligence and differentiate the varied terminology used by various early proponents.
  2. Discover ways to improve performance in each composite.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to recognize triggers and develop strategies on how to manage one’s emotions.
  4. Expand approaches for improving and growing emotional intelligence.
  5. Discuss and examine how the emotional intelligence framework explains human behavior and affects employee motivation.
  6. Develop emotional intelligence skills to improve one’s work and personal responsibilities.

Notes

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:

  •     90% refund (10% Service Charge) if cancelled greater than 14 days before the class
  •     75% refund (25% Service Charge) if cancelled between 7 and 14 days before the class
  •     No refund if cancelled fewer than 7 days before the class
