GCED Program: Workforce Development

Promoting excellence in government means helping governments and community leaders lay a foundation for economic growth and job creation. We provide training and professional development as part of our workforce development services.

We assist governments and communities as they plan for the future and increase their capacity so that they can build a strong workforce to meet employer needs.

Learner Outcomes

This course will help the economic development professional understand the importance of workforce development and how it directly impacts their role as well as every aspect of their community.  During this course, professionals will start a plan to analyze the current and future workforce data for their community.  Additionally, they will begin to identify stakeholders and resources for their workforce development plan and understand how to package their workforce development assets.

Cancellation Policy:

•     100% refund if cancelled greater than 22 days before the class
•     75% refund if cancelled between 15 and 22 days before the class
•     No refund if cancelled fewer than 15 days before the class
