The University of Georgia is seeking qualified candidates to serve as a community-engagement facilitator, known as an Archway Professional. This position is a Public Service & Outreach Faculty member that will serve the Connected Resilient Communities Program. The Archway Partnership is a Public Service and Outreach Unit under the leadership of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach. Archway is a nationally recognized leader in community engagement and stakeholder facilitation.

Connected Resilient Communities (CRC) is a time-limited opportunity to learn to leverage the resources of the University of Georgia in data analytics, community engagement, and subject matter expertise to address community and economic development challenges. CRC is facilitated by the Archway Partnership and led by the Community Engagement Manager. CRC onboards eight new communities each year. The CRC Archway Professional will be the primary point of contact for four of these new partnerships each year. This position is funded by a congressionally designated grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to support the expansion of the CRC program.

The position carries rank in the public service faculty career ladder of the University of Georgia at the Public Service Assistant level. This is a statewide position and requires the ability to travel to locations across Georgia during the day, in the evening, and on weekends as needed.
