Job Description & Details: The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce (www.cummingforsythchamber.org) is seeking an economic development Project Manager to focus on existing industries in the Forsyth County, Georgia area. The Chamber has chosen The Chason Group (www.thechasongroup.com) to lead the talent search. About the Position. The Project Manager, Existing Industry will focus on pursuing and obtaining commercial and industrial development for the Forsyth County economy.  Key accountabilities will include working with economic development contacts to provide all information necessary in regards to projects seeking expansion opportunity in Forsyth County; coordinating site visits; and follow-through on completion of projects.Building the tax base of the community and identifying growing companies with upper level salaries for employees are the foundations of the position. Additional responsibilities will include managing the Manufacturing Society Council and coordinating the annual manufacturer of the year program. About The Chamber. Located in the northern sector of the Metro Atlanta MSA, the county is served by Georgia 400 which is a major corridor leading to Interstates 285, 75, 20 and 85. Over half of the US population is within a one day’s drive from Forsyth County.
