July 2025 Chair's Column

I hope everyone is finishing up a great summer with rest and travel, either by yourself or with your family.
 
As we all know, fall gets extremely busy so recharging over the summer is always welcomed and needed.  Earlier in July, we had a great Development Authority Executives meeting in Macon. I enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces, but was pleased to see so many new faces, as well.  I felt we had a great day of building relationships, learning valuable new information, and beginning to create plans.
 
I hope many of you will attend the August lunch meeting in Cartersville, which unfortunately I will miss due to travel to new facilities. I look forward to seeing you all in September in Savannah at Annual Conference, which is sure to be enjoyable!
