Letter from Daniel Jackson
Fellow GEDA Members,
I have announced my retirement from Carroll Tomorrow and the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce effective March 31st, 2021. After 19+ years in this role, it is time.
I have a great peace about it and am very excited about the opportunity to spend more time with family, traveling, volunteering, and enjoying life.
While I will miss my colleagues in GEDA, I will treasure the many fond memories and friendships. I joined GEDA in 1998 after starting a new career at Carroll EMC. The lessons learned and the relationships built have been invaluable for me over those three years at CEMC and then 19+ years with Carroll Tomorrow and the Chamber.
The monthly luncheons, the conferences, and the shared network of friends and colleagues have all been so helpful. It should be a given, if you are in the economic development business in Georgia, then joining GEDA should be a first on the to-do list after getting your employee photo ID and access card.
Kevin, I want to thank you for your exceptional leadership and support. And fellow GEDA members, thank you all for teaching me the trade and helping grow the great State of Georgia.
Blessings on each of you in 2021.
Daniel Jackson
