Sporting Clay Results

GEDA News,

Here is some info on the Sporting Clays winners.  It was a tough decision to go out and shoot sporting clays at Dorchester, but those determined shooters were rewarded with enough dry weather to get in their rounds.  The winner of the women’s division was Jessica Hood of Effingham County Industrial Development Authority and Linda Mosely of 365 Degree Total Marketing was runner-up.  Jessica won after tying with Linda in regulation and a 3 station tie breaker.  Good shooting ladies!  David Brazell, won the men’s division with a score of 95!  Said he hasn’t shot in years… yeah, sure, David!  😊  Alfie Meek of Georgia Tech was runner-up.  It was an awesome day and everyone went home with a door prize.  David Brazell has organized or helped to organize the Sporting Clays outing for a number of years and we are very grateful for his many years of service to GEDA.  He  resigned from Pattillo Construction Company a couple of weeks ago after 48 years of service.  Also, Bill Boone, who has coordinated the sporting clays outing with David for many years, retired this past year and was enjoying an RV trip out west during the Annual Conference.  Thank you, Bill, for your many years of service to UGA SBDC, GEDA and Georgia, too!  Y’all enjoy your retirement and come see us anytime!
