April 2025 Chair's Column

Happy Spring Everyone- 

We have a great Spring Workshop approaching at Chateau Elan in Braselton.  I, personally, am looking forward to experiencing a new venue and spending some time in an area of Georgia that I have not visited often.  Special thanks to Serra Hall and the Spring Workshop planning committee on their hard work in putting together a great event for us all.  I hope you’re all planning on coming to enjoy the program and look forward to seeing you there!

You may notice this year’s Spring Workshop schedule is different than past programs. We are trying something new to encourage attendance and allow you to make it back to work in the middle of the week rather than late in the week. We hope ending on Wednesday rather than Friday allows more time with your families heading into the weekend.  Please try your best to attend as much of the workshop as possible, as well as the optional activities and networking time with friends and colleagues.  After the workshop, travel home to spend time with your family and friends for that much needed break away from work for reflection and time to recharge.
