February 2025 Chair's Column

Happy February Everyone.  What a crazy 6 months with much of the state encountering hurricanes, devastation, snow, ice, etc.  However, so many people have remained positive, helping each other in their time of need, and exhibiting the characteristics that make Georgia what it has become today.  Let us all continue to press forward in helping each other, learning from each other, attempting to understand each other, and continuing to push Georgia, ourselves, and our leaders to be what we know we can be.

With spring just around the corner, let's continue to plant the seeds of growth and success that we will all reap this year.  I am excited for my year with GEDA and seeing all of you on a regular basis and learning from each of you.  You will see several events opened for registration soon and please strive to attend in person, join a committee and give back, and make your opinions know on what you want to see in education, legislation, and activities.  We all become better when we hear your opinions and have you giving actionable help to GEDA.

 I look forward to seeing each and everyone of you in person in the coming weeks and months.  As always, please call me if I can be a listening ear or provide any help.
