February 2026 Chair's Column

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Spring is around the corner and the days are getting longer which represents new beginnings and growth. Our State is thriving with jobs and investment. GEDA is flourishing with opportunities to educate and network. I enthusiastically look forward to this year’s programming and the value that it will bring to our membership.

Our upcoming Spring Workshop offers us a chance to upgrade our skills. Exciting monthly programs are designed to re-energize and offer a chance to connect with colleagues and make new friends. As the grass turns green and flowers bloom, let’s take this as a sign that new beginnings are upon us both personally and professionally. Our mission to enhance the quality of life for our respective communities will be challenging, but rewarding.

I always look forward this time of the year as we transition from cold to warm. Our organization is prepared to make this the best transition for economic developers in Georgia. Again, thank you for all you do and for what is yet to come.
